AMRAP
As Many Rounds/Reps As Possible. Complete as many rounds of the prescribed exercises as you can within the time cap.
EMOM
Every Minute On the Minute. At the start of each minute, perform the prescribed exercise(s). Rest for the remainder of that minute.
For Time
Complete all prescribed work as fast as possible while maintaining good form.
Sets × Reps
Traditional strength format. Example: 5×5 means 5 sets of 5 reps each.
Intervals
Alternating periods of high-intensity work followed by rest or low-intensity recovery.
1RM Percentage
Weight calculated as a percentage of your one-rep max.
Tabata
20 seconds all-out effort, 10 seconds rest, repeated for 8 rounds (4 minutes total).
Chipper
Complete all reps of one movement before moving to the next.
